Job Opportunity:

HSR Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health & Safety Representative (HSR) Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support to HSRs, contributing to positive work health and safety outcomes across the state.

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to empower HSRs in their roles, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively manage workplace health and safety. This will involve providing strategic advice, conducting training sessions, and facilitating collaboration among WHS Committee structures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance and support to HSRs on matters related to workplace health and safety.
  • Outcomes and Influencing: Contribute to the achievement of positive work health and safety outcomes through effective influencing and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Initiatives and Programs: Assist in the development and implementation of strategic health and safety initiatives and programs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Australian driver's license (minimum class C)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some out-of-hours shifts
  • Capacity for interstate and intrastate travel
