About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Iluka Early Learning in Bondi Beach. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational program for children from Birth to Preschool age.

We are excited to welcome a new team member who will bring their ideas and positive nature to our community. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection of the educational program for the children.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
  • Develop positive and respectful relationships with children, their families, and community members.
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • Guide and support educators to implement the program and philosophy for the children.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Early Childhood Education.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as an ECT (experience working as an educational lead is advantageous).
  • A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
