Enterprise Integration Specialist

The Enterprise Architect - Integration role leads the development of target state architecture and strategy for seamless integration of various systems, enabling cohesive enterprise operations.

  • Develop end-to-end architectures to facilitate connection of systems, applications, and technologies within enterprise environments, ensuring streamlined workflow.
  • Define integration standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance with business objectives.
  • Identify options for various integration patterns and recommend the best-suited options with justification based on technical expertise.
  • Design, implement, and manage microservices-based integration solutions, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Establish and maintain an API register, lifecycle control, documenting all APIs and interfaces. Define guidelines for API naming conventions and versioning, and documentation. Collaborate with development teams to ensure APIs are well-documented and accessible, promoting a culture of transparency and openness.

Communicate and influence senior stakeholders to translate requirements and gain buy-in on the integration target state and roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Assess and select appropriate integration technologies, platforms, and tools to support the integration architecture, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to contemporary integration styles, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Identify potential risks and security threats related to integration processes and implement measures to mitigate these risks, maintaining a secure and resilient environment.

Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent service experience providing architecture and consulting services, with a strong focus on integration and system design.
  • Demonstrated experience with integration of enterprise applications such as CRM, HCM, Oracle PeopleSoft, etc., with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to structure and articulate messages to different audiences at all levels, fostering effective collaboration and partnership.
