Our Expectations

As a Flight Simulator Instructor with Qantas Link, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive training on Q300 or Q400 full flight simulators and synthetic flight training devices at our Qantas Flight Training Centre in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct type rating, differences, command, remedial, and recency training for QantasLink flight crew using approved synthetic fixed-based and full-motion simulators.
  • Deliver high standards of training and development to candidates undertaking simulator instruction.
  • Operate company aircraft and equipment currently operated by QantasLink, ensuring operational expertise and knowledge of flying operations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Frozen ATPL.
  • Expertise in exercising regulatory delegations.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Dash 8 type rating highly desirable.
  • Instructor rating highly desirable.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Training desirable.

About This Role

This is a permanent position based in Brisbane, offering a competitive salary between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including superannuation and leave entitlements.
