Head of Commercial and Capital Finance

The Senior Manager, Commercial and Capital Finance role is a critical position within the Financial & Business Services Division. The successful candidate will provide commercial expertise to stakeholders to optimise value, manage risk and capitalise on opportunities in support of the University's strategic objectives.
This position is responsible for identifying, developing and supporting the delivery of potential strategic business initiatives, structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements and contributing to the development and maintenance of commercial strategy and policy.
The University's insurance programme falls under the remit of this team, with the Senior Finance Manager playing a pivotal role in placement and annual management of the programme.
About the RoleYou will be an experienced professional able to provide strategic, comprehensive and insightful management reporting, analysis and advice. You will apply your expertise to the University commercial portfolio to support achievement of the University's strategic goals.
You will possess the ability to manage complex commercial matters and negotiate effective contract management. Additionally, you will develop, build and maintain effective professional relationships with high-level internal and external stakeholders.
