We are seeking an Accredited Part-time Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Stromlo Leisure Centre.

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled professional who can provide exercise interventions and education to individuals at risk of developing chronic conditions or injuries. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to develop and promote Exercise Physiology within the centre and wider community. Additionally, they will be responsible for facilitating group-oriented rehabilitation classes and liaising with other medical professionals involved in patient's rehabilitation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provision of exercise intervention and education for those at risk of developing chronic conditions or injuries.
• Provision of clinical exercise prescription for those with existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries.
• Development and promotion of Exercise Physiology within the centre and wider community.
• Facilitation of group-oriented rehabilitation classes.
• Liaison with other medical professionals involved in patient's rehabilitation.

Requirements:

• Australian-based Exercise Physiologist qualification (e.g., AEP with ESSA)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
