The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Graduate Program is designed to propel your career by building on your bachelor's degree with tailored practical skill development. About the Role

You will be responsible for providing information and advice to stakeholders, processing routine requests and documentation, and offering secretariat support to committees. Additionally, you will assist with the development and implementation of organisational strategy, action plans, and procedures, while contributing to internal, government, and regulatory reporting, quality assurance, and risk management processes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Information Support: Provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders, process routine requests and documentation, and offer administrative support to committees.
  2. Strategic Assistance: Assist with the development and implementation of organisational strategy, action plans, and procedures, while contributing to internal, government, and regulatory reporting, quality assurance, and risk management processes.
  3. Liaison & Content Management: Liaise with staff and students across units and external stakeholders on specific matters, and assist with managing the accuracy of information in databases, websites, and publications.
  4. Event Participation & Professional Growth: Assist with planning and participating in key events like open days and orientation, and actively engage in professional development opportunities provided by the university.
What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have completed a bachelor's degree within the last three years and possess strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and work with high accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with a passion for accelerating their career through this graduate program.
