Senior Legal Advisor

The Defence Housing Australia is seeking a dynamic and experienced legal professional to provide high-level advice and support.

This role plays a pivotal part in delivering expert legal services on strategic and legal matters related to the organisation's provisioning, development, and construction activities across Australian jurisdictions.

• Deliver legal services in:

  • Environment Law: covering environmental assessment processes, biodiversity impacts and offsets, land access, pollution, contamination, waste and water law, cultural heritage, climate change, and ESG considerations.

  • Construction Law: advising on construction contracts, risk management, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.

  • Property Law: supporting land acquisition and disposal processes.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional legal knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
