Behavioral Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Coach to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with participants across all ages and stages of life, supporting them to develop greater independence and reach their goals. You will work under the guidance of our primary therapists, implementing therapy plans and varying your approach depending on individual participant needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support NDIS participants in Ballarat and surrounding areas, promoting healthy habits, encouraging social engagement, and assisting with daily routines.
- Work collaboratively with our Allied Health professionals to provide high-quality support and services.
- Maintain clear focus on participant goals and outcomes, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation with the primary therapist.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy, and passion for working within the disability sector.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
- Consistent availability to work, including weekday afternoons from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
- A valid Australian driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Childrens Check.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
