The Role

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing Electrical & Automation projects within the manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of automation work packages across capital projects, involving the planning and coordination of defining scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Capacity to complete technical investigations on capital projects.
  • Overseeing process line equipment upgrades, including electrical and automation equipment.
  • Programming PLCs and Safety PLCs.

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience working in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or packaging industries.
  • Strong experience with SCADA or communication protocols, preferably with Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
