The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our Perth office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth initiatives by developing and executing bid strategies aligned with our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify new opportunities and maintain tendering and project pipelines while tracking bid success rates
- Develop and maintain a bid management framework, encompassing case studies, capability statements, and standardised templates
- Lead the development of bid-specific win strategies aligned with customer objectives to increase the probability of success
- Analyse client procurement documentation to understand and strategise the operational and commercial commitments
- Facilitate the risk assessment and management process of new opportunities to assess, understand, and mitigate all financial, operational, and commercial risks associated with client procurement events
- Lead bid submissions, including the allocation of bid team roles and responsibilities, managing the bid clarification and contractual departure process, and drafting and submitting bid content
- Develop and maintain client stakeholder management plans that identify key client stakeholders, objectives, and effective partnering strategies
- Qualifications in business, contracts/commercial law or other relevant technical field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated success in winning bids through effective proposal management
- Strong understanding of the bid lifecycle, proposal writing, development, and contract negotiation
- Strong business acumen, including strong professional writing and development of business case documentation
- Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements
- High-level stakeholder relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, schedule and plan
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment
- Internet and PC proficiency with advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Outlook Skills
- Demonstrated level of analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
