Clinical Midwife Educator

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our team as a Clinical Midwife Educator at Wollongong Hospital.

About the Role

This is a temporary parental leave relief position until 4 October 2026 with the possibility of an extension at same or reduced hours. As a Clinical Midwife Educator, you will guide and mentor midwives and students, build clinical confidence, and help deliver the highest standard of woman-centred care to our community.

  • Deliver engaging education, training, and clinical skills assessments
  • Support staff across Birth Unit, Antenatal Clinic, Postnatal, and Newborn Care
  • Mentor students, early-career midwives, and new team members
  • Promote high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Collaborate with the education and maternity leadership team
