About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our Out of School Care team at Albany PCYC. As an Out of School Care Assistant Educator, you will play a vital role in providing quality and relevant programs for school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of quality and relevant programs for school-aged children
  • Provide support and care to children in the program
  • Be available for early morning and afternoon shifts, as well as full days during vacation care

About You
  • Currently holds or working towards a recognised qualification of Certificate 3 or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care, Out of School Hours Care, Education Support, School-based Education or Diploma or degree in Teaching Education, Recreation or Sport Science
  • Current Child Care First Aid Certificate
  • Basic knowledge of childcare industry and legislative requirements
  • Experience supervising recreational activities, ensuring compliance with OHS regulations
  • Hold or willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance, Working With Children Check and a certificate qualification of handling food for children services
