We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive contribution to the local community by working in building certification, providing leadership, mentoring, and technical advice to stakeholders, assessing and managing construction certificates, complying development certificates, and Occupation Certificates.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake building certification for the Queanbeyan Palerang Local Government Area
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical advice to stakeholders
• Assess and manage construction certificates, complying development certificates, and Occupation Certificates

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Acreditation as a Building Surveyor – Restricted (all classes of building) or higher
• Expertise in applying certification standards and legislation, including the National Construction Code and NSW Environmental Planning legislation
• Proven commitment to delivering high-quality customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to mentor and support team members
