Mining Waste Optimization Specialist

Job Summary:
- Optimize Closure Phase of a Major Mine Site
This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement an innovative waste stockpile grade characterization methodology to optimize material movement plans.
As a Bulk Material Movement (BMM) Engineer, you will lead the BMM work package on the Ranger Rehab Study. You will drive progress in the BMM workstream, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and develop strong professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and implementation of the BMM plan
- Coordinate all engineering activities for the defined area of responsibility
- Engage and manage specialist technical contractors/consultants
- Provide engineering and technical support to project Construction teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Assist in producing technical reports and project reviews
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
- 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
