About the Role

We seek skilled Underground Electricians to join our team. Our operation features a fully automated longwall system using advanced mining technology. With a strong focus on career development, mentorship, and relocation packages, we offer long-term opportunities in a well-established, long-life underground coal mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical maintenance activities will be undertaken as needed on shift
  • Collaboration with crew members is essential
  • Support for site health, safety, environment, and quality policy and procedures, following safe work procedures is required
  • Inspecting the work area and plant for hazards, damage, and defects is necessary
  • Statutory equipment inspections must be completed in your panel
Requirements
  • A NSW Electrical Trade Qualification or NSW issued Electrical License is required
  • Experience/qualifications in Flameproof Protection Enclosures are essential
  • Experience/qualifications in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas Training (EEHA) is required
  • Able to work rotating shifts – day, night, and afternoon
  • Previous experience working in underground mining is preferred
  • Able to meet clean-shaven requirements in line with underground coal mining respiratory safety standards
