Key Role Summary

This exciting opportunity is focused on delivering exceptional patient care and support within the Day Surgery Unit at a leading tertiary hospital.

As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative services to patients and medical staff, including clerical and reception duties.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist Medical and Nursing staff by carrying out clerical and reception duties to a high standard, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including telephone manner and customer service, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Recent experience in a similar role or hospital environment, preferably with completion of medical terminology certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including telephone manner and customer service, with ability to plan, prioritize and organize work activities to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with initiative, adaptability and flexibility, and computer literacy in MS Office and knowledge of Cerner (Powerchart and Surginet).
