Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead our QA function at our Chelsea Heights location.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing compliance of our Quality Systems to ensure adherence to all relevant food safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Food Science or related discipline and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GMP Compliance: Manage and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all sites, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Complaint Management: Assist customer complaint investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Staff Training: Manage and train staff training programs and ensure accurate, up-to-date training documentation.
  • Auditing: Assist internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within the food manufacturing industry.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and decision-making abilities.
