Mathematics Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated mathematics teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in ATAR mathematics (Applications/Methods/Specialist) and lower school maths.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in teaching mathematics, as well as a strong commitment to the Christian values that underpin our school community.

The role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the academic excellence of our school.


About the Role

This is a full-time position commencing Term One, 2026. The initial contract will be for one or two years, with the possibility of conversion to ongoing status.

The salary will be based on the school's teacher pay scale and will be negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.


Key Expectations

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Teach ATAR mathematics (Applications/Methods/Specialist) and lower school maths to a high standard;
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners;
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and improve student outcomes;

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a valid teaching qualification;
  • Have a minimum of [insert number] years of teaching experience;
  • Be able to demonstrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour and be an active member of an evangelical Christian Church;
  • Provide a written reference from a Pastor/Elder or the contact details of a Pastor/Elder who may be contacted for a verbal reference in regard to the applicant's Christian faith, character and practice;
