This permanent, full-time position comes with an attractive salary of $112,000 - $134,000 per annum.
About the Role:
As a Lymphoedema Therapist - Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating lymphoedema, lipoedema, and vascular conditions. You will manage your caseload independently, documenting accurate records and maintaining effective communication with patients, colleagues, and referrers. Your expertise in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), bandaging, and garment prescription will enable you to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat lymphoedema, lipoedema, and vascular conditions
- Manage caseload independently, seeking assistance when required
- Document accurate records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to AHPRA standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and referrers, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
- Maintain competence in MLD, bandaging, and garment prescription, staying up-to-date with evidence-based practice guidelines
Requirements:
- Completed qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Current Accreditation as Level 2 ALA Nationally Accredited Lymphoedema Therapist
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Public and Products Liability Insurance (20M)
