Rehabilitation Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Physician to join our interdisciplinary team.

This role involves providing medical leadership in the management of late effects of polio, working with a multidisciplinary team within clinic appointments and via case conferencing to develop management and monitoring strategies for patient care.

Key responsibilities include attending multi-disciplinary regional clinics six times per year, with one overnight clinic attended by telehealth. Based at St Vincent's Hospital, Fitzroy, this part-time role is approximately 12 hours per fortnight, with flexible working arrangements available.

Requirements
  • Specialist Registration: Specialist registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia/AHPRA is mandatory.
  • Qualifications: Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine or equivalent specialist qualification is required.
  • Experience: Experience in managing people with a history of polio is essential, and participation in an approved CME program is necessary.
  • Certifications: A current National criminal history check and NDIS Worker Screening Check are required.
