The successful candidates will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of polling stations across Western Australia.

The roles available include:

Issuing Officer:

Issues ballot papers to electors on polling day, rotates as a ballot box guard and queue controller, and becomes a counting officer after 6 pm.

Student Electoral Officer:

Assists in polling place duties performed by officers, with limited hours.

Voter Information Officer:

Provides language, literacy, or other support to electors, with a focus on culturally and linguistically diverse or indigenous electors.

General Assistant:

Assists with the setup and pack up of polling places, with a focus on larger polling places.

Ballot Box Guard:

Ensures the correct ballot box papers are put into the ballot boxes, rotates as an issuing officer and queue controller, and becomes a counting officer after 6 pm.
