We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Warehouse Operator. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation and administration at our warehouse.
Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment, including the internal and surrounding areas. You will also be responsible for operating a forklift and adhering to all necessary safety requirements.
Additionally, you will be expected to ensure that goods and packaging materials are handled in accordance with industry standards. This includes controlling CHEP Pallet or other owned or hired pallets, as well as general stock control processes.
You will also be responsible for identifying areas of cost savings, safety risks, and process improvements within the warehouse operation. This may involve checking loading plans and photos, as well as issuing receipt and dispatch paperwork.
Another important aspect of this role is ensuring that customer service and quality targets are met or exceeded. This may involve working closely with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implementing new processes.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a working knowledge of all warehouse activities and safety rules. You will also need to possess a valid driver's license and forklift license, as well as a white card.
- Maintenance of Warehouse to ensure internal & surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Operating a Forklift and adhering to forklift safety requirements.
- Ensure storage of goods & packaging materials are handled in accordance with Industry standards.
