About This Opportunity

As a key member of our Contract Manufacturing Division, you will play a vital role in the execution of our 5-year strategy focused on improving performance, driving sustainable growth, building leading capability, and engagement.

The primary purpose of this position is to mix and/or blend bulk product, in accordance with the production schedule, to pre-determined formulations and quality standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Mixing and/or blending product components in accordance with client specifications
  • Gathering ingredients where required
  • Preparing line filling tanks based on production schedules and filling line capacity
  • Taking samples to the laboratory for analysis to confirm filling products are in accordance with client specifications
  • Completing appropriate documentation for quality and traceability purposes
  • Operating and understanding the Scada system that controls the manufacturing plant
  • Working towards achieving optimum WHSE outcomes for production areas through a positive safety mindset and following safety procedures and reporting
  • Attending workshops and training sessions
  • Providing training to others as appropriate
  • Maintaining area housekeeping
  • Communicating closely with the shift supervisor
Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A keen eye for detail
  • A valid forklift license
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Working/functional knowledge of SAP or any other system would be an advantage
  • Results-oriented and able to take initiative with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
