About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects across various industries, leveraging your expertise in business analysis and technical skills. As an Expert Business Solution Developer, you'll be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing functional specifications.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and meet business needs. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively manage project plans, schedules, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and document business requirements and objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities and solutions to enhance business processes
  • Develop functional specifications and detailed use cases for IT solutions
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify existing system shortcomings and recommend solutions
  • Establish and manage project plans, schedules, and timelines
  • Support project managers in planning and executing projects by providing input
  • Work closely with developers to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible
  • Manage change requests and facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Create end-user training and support documentation
  • Recommend enhancements to improve IT solutions' effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and their potential application to the business

About You

We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field in Financial Services. You should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additionally, you should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles.

Salary Estimate: AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per year
