Job Opportunity

  • A dynamic and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist is sought to join the multidisciplinary team at a hospital in Geraldton, Western Australia.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a modern and well-equipped hospital with a diverse range of cases, including high acuity and trauma presentations. The role will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive Emergency Medicine services to patients.

As an Emergency Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department;
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including registrars, residents, and allied health staff;
  • Participating in the education and training of junior medical staff and students;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.

Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent. The successful candidate will be expected to meet the requirements of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and the Australian Medical Council.
