About the Position

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Paediatrician to join our team at JPS Medical Recruitment. This role is ideal for a Specialist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is looking for a challenging and rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within our Paediatric Department, providing consultative, inpatient, and outpatient services, including outreach services at various regional centers.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, comprising full-time and part-time Specialists, Registrars, and Junior Medical Officers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services that meet the needs of our patients.
  • Participate in the supervision and training of Registrars and Junior Medical Officers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent specialist qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated expertise in the investigation and care of paediatric patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High-level problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Appointment subject to a satisfactory criminal history check and compliance with relevant immunisation requirements.
