Risk and Controls Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Controls Manager to join our Group Treasury Team and play a pivotal role in the uplift and transformation of control environments across the Capital and Liquidity critical functions.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for making an impact on a long-term, business-critical project crucial to maintaining Macquarie's strong, conservative balance sheet.
Key Responsibilities- Transform the end-to-end Capital and Liquidity process from the operating model and system landscape to the relevant calculation, data, and reporting frameworks.
- Develop and implement effective risk management and control strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new data architecture and technology to support the transformation of the Capital and Liquidity process.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management and control best practices to ensure the highest level of risk mitigation and control.
- Previous experience in Risk Management, Control Documentation, and Design.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Project delivery experience, with a particular focus on Risk Management or Controls.
- Exposure to Data Risk and Controls will be highly regarded.
