As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the pricing function and company by providing robust, accurate, and timely data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand sources of data, its limitations, and common uses within the team
  • Manage and manipulate large datasets to inform business decisions
  • Conduct technical analysis as directed, including building predictive models
  • Analyse, interpret, and extrapolate data from multiple sources to resolve complex issues
  • Drawing actionable insights and providing recommendations on next steps
  • Explain work and communicate findings to senior management
  • Perform regular reporting to stakeholders
  • Implement changes and quantify the expected impact on the portfolio
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in general insurance or a related field
  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Programming knowledge (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, Python)
  • Experience in building predictive models is highly valued
  • A degree in mathematics, actuarial studies or a similar field
  • Progressing through professional certifications is highly regarded
