Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to deliver work orders, including fault finding, repairs and servicing of mechanical equipment across our water network.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networks, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and deliver allocated work orders
  • Service, repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches etc
  • Perform administrative tasks and document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network including attendance to pre-start meetings
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures
Requirements
  • Experience in Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networks
  • Current C Class Driver Licence
  • Trade Mechanical certificate
  • Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)
  • Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)
  • Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)
  • Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205,MSMPER200 (3-year validity)
  • Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)
