Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager Business Services

This role provides the opportunity to utilize your advisory, tax planning, compliance, and team management skills and experience.

You will work alongside a Principal in Parramatta, assisting him to manage and expand his client portfolio.

  • Managing client engagements (advisory, tax planning, and compliance matters)
  • Supervising staff and allocating work, reviewing work, coordinating workflow to ensure maximum outcomes
  • Meeting with clients and engaging with stakeholders
  • Working on client assignments as instructed by the Principal
  • Participating in practice development and attending management functions

Key requirements include:

  • Previous business services and client-facing experience
  • 5 years' senior level experience within an Australian public practice
  • Ability to build and lead a team
  • Highly developed technical skills in producing financial reports for companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Excellent English communications skills
  • Proficiency with technology and accounting software systems
  • Ability to take ownership and pride in work and tasks

A competitive salary is offered, ranging from $110,000 to $135,000 depending on skills and experience. Additional bonus structures recognize performance and commitment to the role.
