Job Title:

Head Coach of Athletics and Cross-Country

Job Description:

As a highly motivated and experienced coach, you will lead and manage the school's athletics, cross-country, and Strength and Conditioning Centre (SCC) programs. This role involves coaching, administration, team selection, event coordination, and overseeing student training and competition.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, managing school carnivals, and ensuring the safe use of the SCC facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for athletics, cross-country, and Strength and Conditioning Centre (SCC)
  • Manage school carnivals and events
  • Oversee student training and competition
  • Ensure the safe use of the SCC facilities
Requirements:
  • Athletics Australia Track and Field Coaching accreditation
  • Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness and/or ASCA Strength and Conditioning Level 1 or equivalent
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Driver's Licence (bus licence preferred)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
