Child Psychologist Job Description

As a Child Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental health services. This is a patient-facing clinical position where you will be seeing clients and providing evidence-based therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnose mental health conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and client needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment plans
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with referring healthcare providers to strengthen client referral networks and support practice growth
  • Coordinate with external providers to fulfill service requests within an established procedural framework

This is a permanent part-time position for 3 days per week (0.6 FTE). The role will be based at our new centre in Roselands.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or a Master's/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, and substantial experience in mental health care.
