About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to lead our business operations across New South Wales. This is a key role responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust and inclusion.

The successful candidate will be an energetic and innovative safety professional with experience in embedding a risk based approach to keep people safe both physically and mentally. They will work closely with leaders and customers to develop and execute business plans, coach and mentor leaders through site visits, facilitated training and workshops, and manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a system focused on risk, health, compliance and customer expectations.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute business and site plans.
  • Coach and mentor leaders through a combination of site visits, facilitated training and workshops.
  • Measure and report on performance, trends and outcomes.

About You

You will have leadership experience in safety, health and wellbeing and/or other risk based roles, a deep understanding of the risks unique to the transport, warehousing and resources industry, and a commitment to personal development. You will also have experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations, and a working knowledge of work health and safety legislation.
