Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $22.00 - $25.68 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for overseeing campus activities and special events, coordinating campus-wide recreational events, and ensuring the implementation of recreational programming. As a Residential Recreation Specialist, you will work with individuals who have developmental disabilities, providing them with opportunities to engage in daily activities and achieve long-term goals.
You will coordinate and attend special events both on and off campus, attend assigned committees, work with and support SWAG's mission and goals, and develop and increase recreational opportunities both on and off campus. This position also involves coaching Special Olympics.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience: Two years of experience in a similar setting; recreation experience preferred.
