The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Engineering Instructor at The ACE Training Centre in Bankstown. As an Engineering Instructor, you will be responsible for designing, managing, supervising, and delivering technical training to engineers, aircrew, and supporting elements across Toll Aviation operations and within The ACE Training Centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of Engineer-related Technical Training
• Delivery of Ground Technical Training for Pilots and Aircrew Officers
• Delivery of Recurrent Technical, Aircraft Familiarization, and Safety Training for Clients
• Delivery and Assessment of Engineering Staff Induction
• Assistance in the Development and Delivery of Engineer Human Factors Training
• Delivery of PMA Training and Maintenance Management System Training
• Potential Delivery of Recurrent Technical Training for an Engineering Workforce (under a future Part 147)
• Management of Training Governance Materials, including relevant TMPs, Courseware, etc.
• Standardization and Ongoing Professional Development and Assessment of all other Instructors for Technical Theory
• Maintenance of Pt66 Licensing and Currency Requirements by performing/certifying for maintenance on our fleet of AW139 aircraft

Requirements

• Relevant Aviation Background exceeding 10 years
• Cert IV Aeroskills (B1.3 or B2) or equivalent (military or overseas)
• Prior experience in training/mentoring engineers
• Exceptional Communication Skills
• Motivated and skilled to design and deliver quality technical training both in-class and as E-learning as a primary responsibility

Desirable Requirements

• Part 66 Licence (B1.3 and/or B2) or ability to obtain
• AW139 Type Rating or ability to complete
• Experience delivering aviation theory training
• Part 141, 142, and/or 147 Training Approval or equivalent
• Multi-lingual and/or ability and aptitude to deliver training to foreign students using translation services
