Eye Care Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled eye care professional to join our team in the Erina store.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • A high level of technical proficiency in optometry is required, including experience with Retinal Camera, Visual Field Analyser, Non-contact tonometer, Corneal Topographer, Optos UWDRS and OCT.

This role involves performing eye examinations for a wide range of customers, recommending lens solutions based on customer lifestyles, and explaining complex lens technology to customers.

The successful candidate will be a confident and effective communicator, able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive eye examinations, using advanced equipment and techniques to diagnose and treat eye conditions.
  2. Recommend appropriate lens solutions for each customer, taking into account their lifestyle, needs and preferences.
  3. Communicate complex information about lens technology to customers, highlighting the features and benefits of different products.
  4. Mentor and support Graduate Optometrists in the use of advanced technology and lens solutions.
