Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insulator for exciting projects in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile projects in the region.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Install and maintain insulation materials on pipes, vessels, and equipment to control temperature and prevent energy loss.
  2. Measure and cut insulation materials to fit the required specifications.
  3. Apply weatherproofing and other protective coatings to insulated surfaces.
  4. Ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
  5. Inspect and maintain insulation tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  6. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently and safely.
  7. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  8. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience in insulation at various levels.
  • Previous experience within the mining & resources industry or similar.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in the insulation industry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space (less than 2 years old).
  • Nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card).
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rates of pay ranging between $39.92 - $55.00 (qualification/experience and project dependent).
  • Standard working week of 40 – 60 hours, working 8 - 12 hours per day with additional penalty rates offered for overtime, weekend and public holiday work (site and project dependent).
