Caregiving Specialist

Estimated salary for this position is $45-$55 per hour, reflecting the high level of expertise and care required. The location of the job varies between Bilambil Heights and Cudgen.

About the Job

We are looking for a Support Worker who can treat our customers as individuals and think outside the box to help them in their unique circumstances. You will be responsible for helping our customers build and live the life they choose, adapting communication approaches to include non-verbal customers, and accompanying them to appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal care and medication administration
• Using manual handling equipment to support clients with movement
• Accompanying to appointments and adhering to specialist plans
• Adapting communication approaches to include non-verbal customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Reliability and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of customers
• Experience helping people to live their best lives, whether in disability services or aged care, retail, customer service, or similar
• Good availability, with the more you are available, the more work we can offer
• A valid NSW Drivers C class licence and willingness to transport customers
• Understanding of NDIS services and programs, although not essential
