Cooling Tower Specialist Required

A skilled Technical Professional is needed to perform routine maintenance, repairs and rebuilds of cooling towers across Victoria and occasionally interstate.

About the Role

This position involves servicing cooling systems, pumps, mechanical components, motors and fans. Handling and using cleaning chemicals, working at heights and confined spaces on occasion. Preparing technical reports. Implementing safety procedures including lock out/tag out and JSA's.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to handle safely and use cleaning products
  • Knowledge of fiberglass, steel or timber repair techniques
  • High level of mechanical aptitude - understanding of cooling tower mechanics is essential
  • Confined Space and Working At Heights certifications preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of OH&S compliance and JSA's
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
