We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Albury, NSW.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for maintaining heavy industrial plant equipment.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Maintenance Fitter will work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the highest standards of asset care and support Safety, Quality, and Production.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to accelerating safety and productivity performance, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice maintenance methodologies.

Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with Maintenance and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain plant production capability
• Performing Root Cause Analysis on critical failures and ensuring action items are implemented and sustained
• Actively supporting the implementation of capital projects
• Demonstrating genuine safety-first leadership and leading by example
• Fostering continuous improvement to ensure compliance with policy, guidelines, and better practice frameworks

The successful candidate will be required to possess:

• Formal qualifications (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience/training (Trade qualified – Cert IV or higher)
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and an inquisitive mindset
• Result-driven focus with strong mechanical aptitude
• Great communication skills and strong rapport-building techniques
• Current and valid 'S' Permit (Restricted Electrical License)
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite/computer skills
