About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Psychologist or other mental health professional to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our mission of providing high-quality medicolegal assessments and reports. You will work closely with a team of professionals, contributing your expertise in psychology to assess individuals within the legal framework, prepare comprehensive reports, and offer insights that can significantly impact legal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead psychiatrist in interviews, screenings, and assessments of individuals involved in legal matters.
  • Complete comprehensive case notes and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Work side-by-side with the lead psychiatrist to assess a wide range of acute and chronic psychological disorders in a Medico-Legal context.
  • Participate in and contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Collaborate with legal and medical professionals to produce high-quality medicolegal reports.

Requirements of the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Australian working rights and a valid Australian driver's license.
  • Willingness to undergo various background checks as required.
