About the Role

Mackay Radiology is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a comprehensive practice, we offer a range of services including:

  • All Ultrasound
  • X-ray
  • CT
  • Mammography
  • Interventional procedures
  • Licensed MRI and Nuclear Medicine onsite

Our practice is located within walking distance of the Mackay Mater Private Hospital, and we have a strong reputation for providing high-quality care and service to the Mackay and surrounding community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality nuclear medicine services to patients and referrers
  • Selecting the correct protocols to suit each situation
  • Ensuring patients are treated with the utmost care and respect
  • Updating the RIS/PACS system with accurate patient and service details

About You
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation) in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience preferred but not essential
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • QLD Radiation Use Licence
  • Ability to promote and maintain high standards of patient care
