**Warehouse Coordinator Job Description**
This role is responsible for managing the receipt of all goods purchased by the Hospitality Events and Operations department. The successful candidate will ensure that all goods are received in a safe manner, matched with relevant purchase orders, and discrepancies are reported to relevant department heads.
The Warehouse Coordinator will also assist in conducting an accurate stock count for food and beverage stock at the end of each financial month. Additionally, they will be responsible for controlling and reporting the distribution of all food stock from stock sheets to the correct areas, ensuring correct entry in event analysis.
A key focus area of this role is maintaining a clean and well-organized warehouse environment, adhering to HACCP food safety programs and WHS/OH&S guidelines. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse or storeperson role, particularly in a food and beverage environment.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or storeperson role;
- Previous experience in a food and beverage environment essential;
- Ability to implement and record all relevant information on documented paperwork for food safety & HACCP program records;
- Current forklift license;
- Current Australian driver's license;
- Must hold relevant Food safety supervisor certificate;
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety guidelines.
