Job Overview

Brightcove is seeking a highly motivated SMB Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team in Australia and New Zealand. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading SaaS company and drive revenue growth in the SMB space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory plan focused on revenue generation, targeting SMB clients in ANZ.
  • Build a metrics-driven sales pipeline of new accounts, leveraging industry expertise and market knowledge.
  • Manage the sales process through the team from initial contact with a prospect to negotiating and closing contracts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years direct sales experience in a SaaS environment, preferably selling into Martech, advertising & media technology, and SMB clientele.
  • A proven track record delivering on or exceeding revenue goals and quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and carry through complex deals to closure.
  • An ability to assess and uncover client needs and pain points effectively and provide solutions through new products and services.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative is a must.
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is highly preferred.
Benefits

This is a quota-carrying role with an estimated salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also have opportunities for career growth and professional development within Brightcove.
