We are seeking an experienced Gardener/Caretaker to join our dynamic team at CoRecruit. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the townhouse complex of 68 high-end terrace homes and gardens are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Landscaping and gardening maintenance of property grounds
  • Performing scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring the common areas are always clean and presentable
  • Complete periodic maintenance performance reporting
  • Coordinating with external contractors
  • Providing outstanding customer service to residents
  • Proactively reporting on potential maintenance needs or issues and escalating these where required
  • Maintaining the terrace homes to the highest standard, striving to ensure they remain a place that the residents love to come home to

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders including residents, contractors, and body corporate.
  • A passion for gardening or landscaping
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Basic handyman/maintenance skills
  • Previous experience in a caretaker/gardener role highly desirable
  • Willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and do whatever is required to get the job done - this is a hands-on position
