Law Graduate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious law graduate to join our practice led by Partner David Lee, a leading insurance and litigation lawyer. This is a rare opportunity for an aspiring lawyer to work directly with the Partner and senior lawyers, gaining exposure to large-scale, high-value, multi-party, and/or multi-jurisdiction litigation.
Key Responsibilities- Attend client meetings and teleconferences to understand client needs and provide support.
- Contribute to matter planning meetings to ensure effective case management.
- Prepare file notes, memorandums, and summaries of internal discussions and meetings with clients, legal counsel, or relevant third parties.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of client files, including drafting, analyzing, and interpreting legal documents.
- Draft correspondence and emails to clients and other parties as directed.
- Assist with drafting court documents, including witness statements and proposed affidavits.
- Undertake research and prepare summary memorandums to support case development.
- Liaise with and provide support to barristers, including preparing Briefs to Counsel.
- Stay up-to-date with legal developments within your practice area and contribute to internal current awareness and learning and development education sessions.
- Assist with business development activities, including writing articles for clients on relevant industry updates and preparing client presentations.
Clyde & Co Law Graduates/Junior Associates are expected to demonstrate and achieve certain competencies in the areas of technical excellence, people and team, client relationships, finance and practice management, and personal effectiveness.
