About the Role:

The ideal candidate will lead the delivery of key national events and programs, drive PIA's Professional Development strategy, foster partnerships, and deliver national learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team to lead national events and programs.
  • Oversee the annual national Planning Congress as Project Manager.
  • Sourcesponsorships for national events, maintains relationships with sponsors, and ensures benefits are delivered.
  • Maintains the PIA National Awards for Planning Excellence program.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event management and leadership.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Business development skills with a successful history in sourcing event partners.
  • Excellent relationship management abilities.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.

Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

The Head of Events, Partnerships and Learning will also work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer.
