Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Legal Administrator to join our team at AFL Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our senior lawyer, assisting with preparing briefs, arranging travel and meetings, file and diary management, time recording and billing, and general administration. You will also be working closely with clients, doctors, and external solicitors to ensure seamless communication and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients, doctors, and external solicitors to discuss case progress and resolve any issues.
- Preparing and managing documents, including briefs, contracts, and other legal papers.
- Coordinating travel arrangements and meeting schedules for senior lawyers and staff.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client files, meetings, and correspondence.
- Providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to client inquiries.
- Working collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2-10 years' experience as a legal secretary or administrator, preferably in personal injury and wills/estates law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Highly organized and able to multitask, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- A keen interest in learning and developing new skills, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
