Job Overview

Seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Test (NDT) technician to contribute to the RAAF and ADF by applying NDT methods and crafting procedures for use on Defence aircraft, engines, and ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply NDT methods including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Craft NDT procedures tailored for Defence aircraft, engines, and ground support equipment
Requirements
  • Current or recent experience of MT, ET, UT, and RT
  • IAW EN 4179 or NAS 410 certification as a Level 2 NDT technician
  • EASA, CASA, or DASA regulations compliance
  • Aerospace industry experience, preferably with ADF aircraft and defence environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thermography Testing (IRT), Aerospace experience
  • Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) experience
Security Clearance

Applicants must be eligible to obtain an Australian Government security clearance. Pre-employment screening is conducted for all preferred candidates.
